The El Segundo PTA's 18th. Annual 5K Run for Education
Yes, We did it. My 10 year old daughter and I successfully completed The El Segundo PTA's 18th. Annual 5K Run for Education today. What a great experience! We were so glad that we decided to enter the fantastic crowed of joggers and runners. The whole event was very nicely organized with lot's of volunteers, supporters, sponsors and friendly crowed. Great event. Hope we will compete again next year.

This is a very nice place to visit with your kids while taking a stroll on Manhattan Beach Pier.
Roundhouse Marine Studies Lab and Aquarium is dedicated to teaching visitors about oceans.
The Roundhouse Marine Studies Lab and Aquarium is part of the non-profit organization Oceanographic teaching stations,INC.(OTS)
Inside are several primary aquaria,each representing brilliant selection of marine fish and invertebrates.
Some of displays are:
- Tide Pool Touch Tank housing animals from Southern California tide pool habitats.
- Seastar Tank that houses the largest Sea Star,the Sun Star as well as some large fish eating anemones.
- Arch Way Tank that you can actually walk under, featuring an artificial pier piling habitat.
- Living Reef Tank containing colorful slugs like sea lemons and Spanish shawls, brittle stars, Catalina gobies, sea fans, and sea anemones.
